For the last event on the 25th of August, you can either stay for a night in one of the safari park accomodations (high pricing, check by clicking here) or an hotel (or Airbnb) nearby. We personally recommend the Hythe Imperial.
As the civil wedding is in France and the traditional events are in the United Kingdom, travelling can be tricky if you want to attend all events you are invited to.
We recommend the following:
To travel from the UK to Europe, and to be able to navigate around, the two simplest and cheapest way to do it are the following:
Fly from London to Luxembourg:
You can fly from London Stansted, Heathrow or City to the Luxembourg (LUX) airport and then rent a car there to come down to France (~1h30 driving). Find the cheapest flight using the app below.
Drive from London to France:
Driving from London to France so you don't have to rent a car is also a possibility and can turn out cheaper than flying if you're driving as a group. The recommended route is to drive to the Folkestone Eurotunnel terminal (~1h30 from London) and take the "Le Shuttle" service (click on the here to book a ticket). This will take you and your car on a train to Calais in up to 35 minutes.
From there it is a ~5h30 drive (with stops) to Art-sur-Meurthe. If you are planning to stay in France for a bit, we can only recommend you to do a few stops along the way to visit cities like Lille, Reims, etc. There is also nice places if you go through Belgium to avoid tolls (~30 more minutes).

Our wedding is a combination of three different cultures: french, english and pakistani. It also means it will have an impact on the dress code.
We recommend the following:
the witnesses.
Maxime
Capable of eating France's annual production of sovayarde fondue on his own, he is Lucas' most handsome cousin.
Lucas lived with him and his parents during his first year of engineering school. He then went to live in Azerbaijan for a few months, but no one knows if it was because of Lucas.
It was also at his parents' house that he met Sabrina for the first time.
Clément
His hair is an autonomous entity with its own consciousness, also known as the 'Isengard Bush'. He's the funniest of Lucas's cousins and they've travelled, played and laughed a lot together. He's also much more skilled than Lucas at Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros.
It's been a few years since he met Sabrina, whom he finds kind and whose "magnificent meals" he enjoys.
Capucine
For years, they fought fiercely for the remote control, along with her only older brother Lucas. Today, they're getting on wonderfully.
In addition to her recognised skills in graphic art, she is apparently capable of repeating a well-known move from the film Dirty Dancing. Or at least she managed to do it once.
She can't remember when or where she first met Sabrina. Nor does Sabrina, for that matter.
Safina
As well as being Sabrina's one and only sister, she has a big (or rather huge) Japanese Akita, and he's her baby.
She and her sister have shared a love of animals ever since they met after Safina's birth.
She first met Lucas at the European Astronaut Centre when he was putting 'powder' into a microwave.

the bridesmaids.
Sikander
Despite his lactose intolerance, he is able to eat whole pizzas without leaving a single crumb in his beard. His technique is so well honed that he has decided to set up a school to teach other bearded men to master it.
He met Sabrina by force of destiny when, perhaps by mistake, he sat next to her on the first day of college.
Some time later, he saw Lucas for the first time before he even knew what a chinchilla was.
Sommie
After reading her texts and poems, some people call her the new Shakespeare. However, she can write twice as fast thanks to her ambidexterity.
She and Sabrina met over 10 years ago in Chigwell through Annie. The three of them became fast friends.
She first saw Lucas when she went to pick up her new Lenovo computer (this is not a product placement, quite the opposite).
Maariyah
Having adopted almost thirty rabbits at the same time, she adores animals so much that she would have liked to have many more.
She and Sabrina have known each other for most of their lives. They both went to primary school together, when they were smaller versions of themselves. Today they share a beautiful friendship and consider themselves to be sisters.
Julia
Books are her passion. Well, especially buying them. So much so that she now has the equivalent of France's national library to read at home.
She first met Sabrina at work. They then set up a coffee-tasting club during their breaks, or so they say.
Lucas tried to join, but was rejected because of his strong taste for tea.
Dhruv
Born a demigod, then stripped of his functionalities after losing a fight in Brazilian jujitsu, a sport he practises to perfection, he carries within him more love than all humanity put together.
He's still traumatised by not being invited to Sabrina's birthday party after they met at college.
He met the man he calls 'Papa Français' through Sabrina after she apparently told him she knew the most beautiful French person in the world.
Jenna
Her fear of frogs didn't stop her from finding Prince Charming, and fortunately she didn't have to kiss any to do so (although some of them did ask for it)!
A true Spacewoman, it was at the International Space University that she first met Sabrina, and then at several events and conferences.
After moving to Luxembourg with her other half, she, Sabrina, Lucas and Will became the 'crème de la crème' family.
Aneqa
Annie has so much to say about herself that she couldn't even decide which would be the coolest to add to this site. Just this morning she put on three pairs of socks because she couldn't decide which one to wear.
She and Sabrina have known each other since they were four years old. Some even say they met for the first time out the womb.
Safina
What more can be said about Safina, Sabrina's sister, but also her great confidante. They are capable of staying on the phone for over 30 minutes without really talking to each other, because they won't say it, but they sometimes miss each other terribly.
Safina's negotiating skills are also internationally recognised.
